Its been a huge year for us at The Cook and the Curator and for SLM:Food!
This year we published 68 blog posts that ranged from artichokes to shaddocks, suet to long lunches, and from sideboards to the elusive “discourse of dinnerware” and some ‘then and now’ features that we hope to add to in 2016. We welcomed Helen, Latoya and Leila on board as guest writers, and bade farewell to Alysha. Our programs team pulled out all the stops to hold the Autumn harvest festival at Rouse Hill House and Spring Harvest at Elizabeth Farm, and we finished with a bang (or should that be a champagne cork) at the Christmas Artisan Food Fare at the Hyde Park Barrack.
Its been a huge year for Jacqui especially with the continuing Colonial Gastronomy series, and ‘Eat Your History’ hitting the bookshelves in time for Christmas – all with a whirl of media interviews, talks and associated programs.
To finish the year, here’s a selection of photos from this year’s Christmas market.
Happy New Year everyone!
