    I have an original press photo dated 29 September 1966 of a 3 year old Clayton Dillon at Collaroy Beach in a quarter scale hotrod (which board rack)and board built by his father. Let me know your email address if you want a scan.

    Just correcting your statement above. The late Clayton Dillon is shown in on the cover and article in Australian HotRodding Review is a half scale (approximately) speedway midget or speedcar, not a hot rod. There were a couple of these built, one I know is still in existence. His father Scott raced a full sized one and a sedan at the speedway. The speedcar he built raced in the 60s is currently being restored.
    I am a peedway historian.
